Our Platform, comprising our Website (located at https://ebio.gg/) and other digital properties, offer comprehensive information about us and enables individuals and businesses to register as e.bio Users collectively referred to as "e.bio Services."

Through e.bio Services, Users can create personalized, easily-customizable pages known as "User Profiles," which are accessible to the public. Our headquarters are based in Ehningen, Germany.

This Privacy Notice solely pertains to the personal information collected by e.bio as a controller from the following:

- Visitors to our Platform ("Platform Visitors").

- Individuals, representatives of individuals, or companies signing up for our e.bio Services through a paid plan ("Paid Plan Users") or free plan ("Free Plan Users"), collectively known as "e.bio Users."

- Individuals visiting and interacting with User Profiles ("Profile Visitors").

When we mention e.bio acting as a "controller," we mean that e.bio determines the purpose and means of processing (i.e., we make decisions about how we handle your personal information). Due to the nature of our services, e.bio may also act as a "processor" on behalf of e.bio Users. This means that, when instructed by an e.bio User, we can facilitate processing of personal information for Profile Visitors and Subscribers on behalf of that specific e.bio User ("Processor Services"). This Privacy Notice does not address Processor Services. If you are a Profile Visitor or Subscriber and wish to learn how an e.bio User handles your personal information, kindly reach out to the respective e.bio User directly and refer to any privacy notice on the relevant User Profile.

If you provide us with information about another person (e.g., if you are a representative of an individual), you must furnish them with a copy of this Privacy Notice and inform them about how we use their personal information as outlined in this Privacy Notice.

What personal information do we collect?

We may collect the following categories of personal information, depending on your interactions with our Platform and e.bio Services:

- Information you provide voluntarily:

When signing up as an e.bio User or interacting with our services, we may ask for personal information voluntarily. For instance, as a Free Plan User, we request your email address, name, username, hashed password. Paid Plan Users may be asked to provide additional details, such as full name, billing email address, billing address, and payment method for billing facilitation. Additionally, when you submit queries or reports (e.g., Intellectual Property Reports or Counter Notices), we may collect your name, email address, and other relevant details to respond to your inquiries or reports. Profile Visitors may be requested by Users to provide their email address, mobile number, date of birth, or other personal information to access specific elements of a User Profile (e.g., locked content). The results of such access may be used for aggregated statistics and service improvement.

- Information that we collect automatically:

When you visit our Platform, use e.bio Services, interact with User Profiles certain information is automatically collected from your device. This includes your IP address, device type, unique device identification numbers, browser-type, broad geographic location (e.g., country or city-level location), time zone, usage data, diagnostic data, and other technical information. We use this data for internal analytics, enhancing the quality and relevance of our Platform and e.bio Services, offering hints and tips to e.bio Users, and suggesting relevant e.bio Profiles. Some of this information may be collected through cookies and similar tracking technology.

Additionally, we may automatically scan User Profiles and links to determine if mandatory or default sensitive content warnings should be applied for Profile Visitors, as well as to assess the need for content removal or suspension of User Profiles, aligning with our Community Standards and Terms of Service. Subscribers are notified of any updates made to User Profiles.

- Information that we obtain from third-party sources:

Occasionally, we may receive personal information about you from third-party sources, including service providers assisting us in marketing campaigns or competitions, and partners supporting e.bio Services. Such data is obtained only if these third parties have your consent or are legally permitted to disclose your personal information.

- Children's data:

Our services are not intended for children under the age of 18. If you are under the Age Limit, please refrain from using e.bio Services and avoid providing us with your personal information. Parents or guardians who become aware that an individual under the Age Limit has provided us with personal information should contact us immediately. Upon notice or discovery, we will take reasonable efforts to erase or destroy any personal information collected or stored by us about that individual.
